The Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter is equivalent to a diocese, created by the Vatican in 2012 for people nurtured in the Anglican tradition who wish to become Catholic.

We are a community of Catholics from various Anglican, Episcopalian, & other Protestant backgrounds (as well as some cradle Catholics) in Austin, Texas. We are in the process of establishing an Ordinariate parish in order to preserve our patrimony, evangelize our city, and warmly invite Protestants of all stripes to “come home!”
